Sara is CEO of the digital transformation consulting firm, Ideal State, which she co-founded in 2016 after a 15-year career in the international health and development sector.
She has been a featured speaker at industry conferences including Digital Workplace Experience, KMWorld, APQC, and NTEN on the topics of digital transformation and knowledge management, and holds a master’s of public health (MPH) degree from the University of Washington.
Sara’s professional journey has taken her to more than 20 countries in the capacity of an educator, documentarian, and digital strategist.
As lead strategist for many of Ideal State's projects, Sara blends the practices of knowledge management, human-centered design, and change management to bring a people-first orientation to every engagement.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time in the great outdoors in her adopted hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico together with her husband, Jeremy, and their young daughter, Abigail.
